Jessie N. Magee is from the eastern edge of the Bay Area in California. While growing up, Jessie showed cattle, hogs and goats in 4-H and FFA. Her family had a small cow-calf operation, and it taught Jessie many life skills that she continues to use today. While in high school, Jessie was a member of the Livermore High School Livestock Judging Team. Jessie attended Modesto Junior College after high school, where she earned her Associates of Science degree. She subsequently attended the University of Idaho and graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree, emphasizing in Agricultural Economics.
